Most importantly, though, look out for the river’s impressive American crocodile population, the largest in the world, with over 25 crocodiles for every square kilometer!
American crocodiles boast long, thin snouts, light-colored scales, and two long teeth on their lower jaws, visible even when their mouths are closed. These prehistoric-looking creatures can grow up to lengths of 20 feet!
Marvel as these incredible carnivores swim alongside your boat or bask in the sun along the riverbank. Our more adventurous guests may even get lucky enough to grab a 15-foot crocodile by the tail!
